1. Data protection at a glance

General information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you.

Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by me. My contact details can be found in the legal notice of this website.

How do I collect your data?
Your data is collected, on the one hand, when you provide it to me (e.g. data you enter into a contact form). Other data is collected automatically, or after your consent, by my IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. browser type, operating system, or time of page access).

What do I use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. Other data may be used to analyze how you use the site.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Strato AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany. See Strato's privacy policy for details: https://www.strato.de/datenschutz/.

The use of Strato is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. I have a legitimate interest in the most reliable possible presentation of my website. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.

3. General information and mandatory disclosures

Data protection

I take the protection of your personal data very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Responsible party

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:

Michael Spiess
Steinmetzplatz 3
83684 Tegernsee, Germany
Email: service@talhelfer.de

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with me until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless I have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.

Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You also have a right to object under Art. 21 GDPR. For complaints, you may contact the competent supervisory authority: Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), www.lda.bayern.de.

4. Data collection on this website

Contact form

If you send me inquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by me for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. I do not share this data without your consent.

Processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on my legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to me (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR) if requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

Data entered in the contact form remains with me until you ask me to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your inquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Server log files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to me. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. Collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. I have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of my website – server log files must be collected for this purpose.

Traffic measurement (own statistics tool)

To evaluate visits statistically, I use a self-hosted, cookie-free counting method. When a page is loaded, a single record is captured: the page viewed, the language (German/English), a coarse device category (mobile/tablet/desktop) and, if you arrived via a link, the domain of the referring site (e.g. "google.com"). No cookies are set, no IP addresses are stored, and no visitor is recognized or tracked across multiple visits. It is not possible to identify you personally from this data.

This data is stored exclusively on my own web server at Strato, is not shared with third parties, and is used only to understand which pages work well. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in shaping my offering to meet actual demand (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

5. External media

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) as well as photos from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com) and Pexels (images.pexels.com). These services may process your IP address when loading. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a visually appealing website). For more information, see the privacy policies of Google, Unsplash, and Pexels.
